About my life

Hi, I'm Ankush — a developer, community builder, and lifelong tinkerer who loves turning ideas into products that the world can use.

Creator of BetterIDEa, Subspace, WAuth
Community Manager @ ArweaveIndia
former Entrepreneur @ Forward Research (Arweave)
former Tech Intern @ Physics Wallah

I previously worked at the heart of the Arweave & AO ecosystem, building the tools and developer experiences that power the next generation of decentralized apps.

BetterIDEa (acquired by Forward Research), a development suite used by AO builders worldwide. While I was an EIR at Forward, I built WAuth (wallet connect using social auth), Subspace (a fully onchain communication platform like Discord) + a bunch of tools and miniapps.

My journey into tech started long before blockchain. I come from a background in STEM, and I've always loved experimenting - from building robots and mini-satellites to making objects levitate with sound waves. That same curiosity now drives me to explore what's possible in tech.

Since 2017, I've been an active part of hackathons and developer contests across ecosystems like DeSo, Ethereum, Tezos, Polygon, and Arweave, earning more than a dozen prizes along the way. One of my favorite projects, DumDumDeploy, started as a hackathon submission and eventually evolved into Arlink — a major deployment tool in the Arweave ecosystem.

In 2023, I won the first Arweave India Hacker House, a turning point in my career. The story behind it is something I share in this small "TEDx" talk.

Outside of coding, I love sharing ideas, experiments, and live builds on my YouTube channel. You'll find everything from developer explainers to fun physics demos and sessions with other builders.

At my core, I'm someone who believes that technology is meant to be explored and had fun with, not just used. Whether it's experimenting with code, physics, or creative ideas, I'm always chasing that moment of discovery and helping others find it too.
