WebAnimate is a Chrome extension that lets you inspect elements on web pages, apply animations, and record them using a timeline-based editor.

Built with React, PixiJS, and FFmpeg for video processing, it makes creating web animations simple and intuitive.

Installation

  1. Download the latest webanimate.zip from releases
  2. Extract the contents
  3. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome
  4. Enable “Developer mode”
  5. Click “Load unpacked” and select the extracted folder
